About
Sonburnt specializes in fine, hand-crafted, wood-burnt designs for your home, including our most popular Lazy Susans. Our beautiful Lazy Susans are both fun and functional. They
make a beautiful work of art on your table or may be hung on your wall when not
in use. Our wooden Lazy Susans are 15 inches in diameter and 2 inches high, the
perfect size for the average table; however, different size options may be available. All Lazy Susans are hand-washable and durable for moderate use.
Sonburnt has many one-of-a-kind Lazy Susans ready for
immediate purchase or you can design your own so our artist can

Sonburnt's Process
Sonburnt's design process involves our artist personally designing and hand drawing each piece with one to eight of our original designs. The pieces are then individually hand-burnt and colored with a
combination of stain, ink, and acrylic paints. Finally, each piece is sealed with
multiple coats of a non-toxic, water proof sealant. Each piece is finished off with our artist's wood-burnt signature and the date of creation. Because this is a time consuming process and fully customizable, please allow 2 weeks for the creative process to be completed. Our artist wants to ensure each masterpiece is given the love and attention you deserve.
Artist Biography
Terri S., Owner/Artist of Sonburnt Designs
I love art, all mediums.
I have wood-burned, painted, sculpted, embroidered, etched, embossed, thrown
clay pottery and made jewelry. Born to a UCLA graduate art major, I have had a love for the arts
as long as I can remember. I have been passionate about art since high school where I won awards for my ceramic pieces. I attended the
University of Redlands where I studied and perfected a variety of different
mediums. My first art sales were at a boutique on Balboa Island, CA during college. I
have taught art to K-12 public school, private school and home school
students. Expressing my God-given artistic abilities is one of my greatest joys.
My fascination for the combination of wood-burning and whimsical art
were ignited while teaching high school students. After
making these fun and functional Lazy Susans for Christmas gifts one year, I was hooked.
Soon I had people asking me to make custom Lazy Susans for them. With the
encouragement, support and help of my wonderful family, Sonburnt Designs was
born. It is my desire that you will share your ideas, hobbies, and loves with
me so I can create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece for you to enjoy in your own
home. My wood-burnt masterpieces are the perfect gift for a special occasion
